3// One time, Pogo managed to dart out of the house and disappear while I was at work. Pogo was a newly-indoor cat after moving to Oakland and hated staying inside... Jordan was so distraught that Pogo got out that he came all the way to my work to give me the bad news. Considering my history with cats getting outside in Oakland and never returning (story for another day), I was heartbroken, but had a feeling he'd come back eventually, as he had no problem going out and coming home when we lived in El Cerrito. Sure enough, Jordan sent me this picture, with a caption of "Look who I found when I got home."
4 & 5// Back when I worked at the hat shop, I had to model some hats for quite a few customers, especially since my main dig was our online store. The photo on the left is one of my favorites, because *rarely* did my outfit match the hat... but that one worked! On the right, my coworker Danny asked me to put on this wig and sunglasses, and we joked about how I was straight out of the Jesus and Mary Chain.
6// And probably my FAVORITE PICTURE OF ALL TIME, Jordan and our LASER CATS. Also, doesn't hurt that we've got Miss Marple and David Hasselhoff peeking out from the Netflix screen in the background (also it looks like we were preparing to watch Star Trek: The Next Generation)... but oh man, this is the only time using the flash on my phone has resulted in PURE BRILLIANCE.
Well, that was a fun trip down memory lane! HEY GUYS, I don't know if you noticed, but it's totally Friday. That is super cool! I'm starting off my weekend with my first-ever Zumba class tonight and then my first yoga class tomorrow morning, hopefully getting the Saturday off to a peaceful, contented start. Do you have any fun weekend plans?

Yay photo-post! I will never understand the undeniable appeal of leg/shoe photos like that one... And with the rainbow of spraypaint in the background, that's one of the best ones I've seen.
ReplyDeleteThe highlight of my weekend was waking up early on Saturday to go to SilverCity and see Kung Fu Panda 2 for free <3 I'd seen it once before, but it was just on a little airplane screen, and seeing it on the big screen was amazing. I still tear up at 'The hardcore do understand'...
Beyond that I just sat around the house, did some admin work for my dad, and practiced viola.
